Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley has been an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most popular. He appeared in Shottas a film that has become a legend featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles like Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) and How Does The Cap Go Remix, and Sensimelia. The majority of them helped contribute to his growing popularity with the younger generation of reggae singers. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band along with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue an acclaimed cover that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley performed at the Midem event (an international showcase of music) that was the first time it was staged in Miami. Marley's performance at the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean
